My motherhood journey began in 2016, with a pregnancy loss, and has evolved over the last decade. In addition to being a therapist for moms, I'm a mom myself. Having 4 kids has humbled, stretched, and refined me in ways I never could have imagined when I began this stage of life.
As a family, we've had to change careers, work schedules, childcare set ups, and pretty much every detail of our lives to find new systems that work, so I know first-hand how hard it can be. And, that eventually, with the right help, you might find yourself enjoying this stage of life more than you imagined.
My fee is $250 per 50-minute therapy session. Most clients attend weekly or biweekly sessions for 3–6 months, depending on their goals for therapy, and the time they have to dedicate to therapy.
Insurance & Reimbursement: I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, many clients receive significant reimbursement for therapy sessions by submitting a superbill to their insurance company. After you meet your deductible, your insurance plan may reimburse a percentage of each session fee.
The large cost of therapy has kept me out of therapy in the past, so I understand the financial hurdle it can be. While nothing replaces 1:1 therapy, I offer weekly groups to provide accessibility for moms who need help, but have tighter budgets. I also write a free weekly Substack, where I teach the skills that often come up in my 1:1 sessions. It's my hope that all new moms get access to the care they need in one form or another.
I've been on both sides of the perinatal therapy couch, multiple times, and I know from experience how helpful therapy can be in postpartum and through motherhood.
I love a crowded table and a meal that lasts hours. Bringing people together and helping them make new friends is a passion of mine.
My first career was in tech. I love working with clients transitioning back to work after mat leave, processing changes to their identity & ambition.
From self-help, to fiction romance, I'm a big reader and am constantly in the middle of a book (or 3).
