Now, 9 years later, and 4 pregnancies and postpartum experiences later, I know the best, evidence-based tools to help new moms navigate all the of unexpected. In addition to being a LMFT, I'm Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C), a Fair Play Coach, and a Gottman Bringing Baby Home Facilitator.  Beyond the skills and training, I want my clients to feel like therapy is a safe place for them to tell the truth about how things are going.

Most of my clients begin therapy overwhelmed and unsure where to start, and end with a clearer sense of who they are, what they have control of, and what they want this season to look like.

I'm a therapist for pregnant & postpartum moms.

get to know me

My motherhood journey began in 2016 when I suffered a late miscarriage. I felt like I had done everything "right" and couldn't wrap my mind around how "wrong" things felt. I sought out therapy to help me process, and navigate an anxiety-ridden subsequent pregnancy. At the conclusion of my personal therapy, I decided to go to graduate school to become a therapist for new, expecting, and grieving moms.

Most of the time, I am asking questions, listening, and offering you invitations and tools to consider based on the data we gather together about you.

Therapy with me is practical, focused, and built for busy moms who are carrying a lot and functioning anyway. Many of my clients are women with demanding careers, young kids (or both!) who look “fine” on the outside but feel chronically overwhelmed, anxious, resentful, or emotionally stretched thin.

With me, therapy looks like....

how does it work?

Ultimately, my goal is for us to help you feel good without me. I want our sessions to blend into your actual life, so you feel the progress and growth in your day-to-day.

I use evidence-based approaches (including ACT and relational work) that help you:
Respond differently to stress instead of just pushing through it
- Make space for your emotions without being overwhelmed by them
- Clarify what actually matters in this season... and let go of what’s unsustainable

My fee is $250 per 50-minute therapy session. Most clients attend weekly sessions for 3–6 months, depending on their goals (postpartum anxiety, postpartum depression, infertility stress, identity shifts in motherhood, or relationship strain after baby).

Insurance & Reimbursement: I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, many clients receive partial reimbursement for therapy sessions by submitting a superbill to their insurance company. After you meet your deductible, your insurance plan may reimburse a percentage of each session fee.

The Nitty Gritty

The large cost of therapy has kept me out of therapy in the past, so I understand the financial hurdle it can be. While nothing replaces 1:1 therapy, I offer weekly groups to provide accessibility for moms who need help, but have tighter budgets. I also write a free weekly Substack, where I teach the skills that often come up in my 1:1 sessions. It's my hope that all new moms get access to the care they need in one form or another.
