Big news: California Perinatal Therapy is now accepting new perinatal clients!

Are you feeling frustrated trying to find support but no one takes your insurance or responds to your emails and calls? We have availability at California Perinatal Therapy and are accepting new perinatal clients.

I thrilled to add coaching to our offerings, led by the warm, intuitive, and deeply compassionate Emilie Martin, MS. Emilie brings a beautifully relatable and empathetic approach to motherhood. With a background in clinical mental health, she offers psychodynamically informed, culturally competent, creative, and collaborative support tailored to every stage of the maternal journey—from pregnancy and postpartum transitions to grief, shifts in identity, and beyond.

Because Emilie is a coach-not a therapist, she is able to support clients in and outside of California. Additionally, she offers a lower fee than a typical licensed provider – so if you’ve been stuck without competent support from your in-network options, are looking for a specialist insurance doesn’t cover, or are frustrated with superbills and diagnoses, Emilie might be a great fit for you.

Emilie is accepting new perinatal clients throughout California, but if you are local, you can request to meet at our Petaluma (Sonoma County) offices.

She’s not just a coach—she’s been there: a mother who understands the emotional complexities and everyday realities of motherhood. With flexibility and care, Emilie even welcomes your baby during sessions—because support shouldn’t require “me-time” guilt. Whether you’re needing space to reflect, a compassionate ear, fresh perspective during transitions, or practical guidance for any phase of the maternal experience, coaching with Emilie is your empowered space to be fully seen, heard, and supported.

To celebrate this launch, we’re offering introductory coaching packages for new perinatal clients.
